JB Whitney and Associates
A premium training company specializing in career development–JB Whitney offers several unique experiences to its clients: all classes are original, all research and curriculum is current, and all presenters are both technical experts and effective conduits of information. Consequently, since its creation in 1994, JB Whitney has retained every original client including the City of Los Angeles and the United States Air Force. Course offerings are divided into three groups: Savoir Faire, Esprit de Corps, and the Tongue & Quill.
Savoir Faire
This division promotes clear, concise business communication in the following areas: the psychology of powerful body language, persuasive; lively presentations; and written correspondence such as letters, memos, email, resumes, and technical reports. The target audience spans entry level to executive management. Savoir Faire polishes professionals to be elegantly assertive and ultimately effective in every interaction.
Esprit de Corps
This division provides guidance in relationship-building for colleagues who need to work together for a common purpose, relinquishing ego-based power conflicts, amicably disagreeing, fostering the creative-competitive edge, correcting and redirecting without disparaging, seeking mutual benefit, becoming an effective leader, dealing with insubordination, and providing both public and private service.
The Tongue & Quill
This division provides the United States Air Force with courses for both military and civilian audiences in communication skills pursuant to the 2004 edition and includes instruction in both spoken and written templates.
